Dr Iris Efthymiou is a behavioural engineer, author and AI governance advisor whose work examines why intelligent systems fail people across AI, healthcare and women’s health. She is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Politics and Ethics in New Technologies and AI, a board advisor, and has delivered more than 400 keynotes across 30+ countries. Drawing on 20 years of experience in behavioural economics, health systems and policy, she helps organisations identify structural blind spots and design more ethical, human-centred systems.
