Agentic systems are the most powerful impact of GenAI in the workplace, modifying existing workflows and discovering new efficiencies, new adjacencies and alliances, even new products and business models. They require dramatic transformations of internal and external processes, while sustaining security, visibility, and governance. IT needs a high level of business operations knowhow, and business leaders must develop sophisticated technology understanding. What lessons can we draw from both previous transitions, and from fast-moving companies here and in China?
