eff Chapman is an experienced technology leader and AI expert, currently the Field CTO at Vectara, where he helps enterprises deploy Generative AI solutions. With Vectara’s serverless Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-as-a-Service, Jeff focuses on enabling organizations to build secure, scalable AI-powered assistants that leverage their data for accurate and explainable insights. Before Vectara, Jeff held technology leadership roles at UBS, ING, and Capital One, where he led AI and technology innovations across global banking operations. A UCLA graduate in Computer Science, he has a strong background in AI, data architecture, and enterprise solutions.
