Emilio Lapiello is an Angel Investor with Launchpad Venture Group, the largest angel investment group in New England. He previously served as Head of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Syneos Health, leading the implementation of generative AI and machine learning solutions. Before that, he was a Partner and Associate Director at Boston Consulting Group GAMMA, where he was one of the founding data science leaders. He has published on embeddings and large language models, holds multiple patents in AI-driven document processing, and has been a guest lecturer at various prestigious academic institutions, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northwestern, and Boston University.
