Junfen is the Director of the NSF NRT Ethical AI Program at UT Austin, specializing in ethical AI and smart city systems. Junfen leads three initiatives: the NSF NRT Ethical AI training for roboticists, the UT Good System’s Smart City Knowledge System (OpenCityAI.com, ComputeGPT.org), and the USDOT Climate Smart Transportation UTC with partners including JHU, MIT, and Utah. Through this work, Junfen focuses on responsible AI to foster sustainable, innovative cities.
