AI capability is no longer the constraint. Today's models can read, reason, plan, and act yet most organizations still use them to speed up existing tasks rather than own outcomes. That distance between what AI can do and what businesses are ready to let it do is the agentic gap, and closing it is becoming the defining opportunity for enterprise leaders. This session examines what the business is really asking for faster decisions, lower operational risk, work that completes itself reliably and the three shifts that make it achievable: from tools to agents that carry workflows end to end with bounded autonomy; from AI projects to an AI operating model where people supervise outcomes, not keystrokes; and from trust as a compliance requirement to trust as a competitive asset. Drawing on hands-on experience building agentic systems in highly regulated industries, this talk offers an honest view of what's happening on the ground, what needs to happen next, and the practical decisions executives and engineers can make together over the coming year.
