Harshit Khaitan is the Director of AI Acceleration at Reality Labs, Meta. His group builds the full stack on-device AI acceleration for wearables, such as the Orion AR Glasses. His current focus areas are on-device LLMs and contextual AI. Previous to Meta, he was an early member of Google’s Cloud TPU group and also co-founded Google's Edge-TPU project that powers AI acceleration in Pixel phones today. He previously held technical leadership positions at Nvidia and has a master's degree in computer engineering from NC State university.

The history of personal computing has been marked by several paradigm shifts in human–computer interaction, and another transformation is on the horizon. Recent advances in augmented reality (AR) glasses and large language models (LLMs) have opened the door to a new era of computing—one that is contextual, ego-centric, and agentic. In this keynote, Harshit will present his vision for the future of personal computing, highlighting the significant opportunities these emerging technologies offer, as well as the challenges they pose for developers, designers, and AI systems alike.
