With over 25 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, Lomesh is a technology generalist starting and scaling new products. At Magic Leap, Lomesh leads the Perception team, which is responsible for delivering the core computer vision and deep learning capabilities for the company's spatial computing platform. His mission is to enable immersive and interactive experiences that blend the digital and physical worlds. He oversees functions such as generative AI, SLAM, 3D world reconstruction, hand and eye tracking, object recognition, multi-user persistence, data collection, ground truth, and KPI measurement and calibration. With a strong background in embedded systems, device drivers, and audio and camera stack development, which he leveraged in my previous roles at Intel Corporation, Lomesh is passionate about innovation and customer satisfaction.
