His team uses ML to support many aspects of the e-commerce business, including search, discovery, personalization, recommendations, ads, as well as growth related problems such as pricing, incentives, retention, etc. Since 2022, Instacart have been pioneering using Large Language Models and generative AI for e-commerce.
