Oktay is Tech Lead, Staff AI/Robotics Software Engineer at Airbus. Here, he successfully demonstrated the world's first fully autonomous, vision-based autonomous taxi, takeoff and landing with A350 test aircraft under ATTOL project, and is leading the sensor fusion algorithms development for various autonomy projects. Over the past decade, he has worked on and led exceptional projects at Tesla, Voyage and NASA JPL. His current research interests include perception, planning and control in autonomous driving and flying systems, machine learning for motion planning (especially deep learning techniques).
