Real change from artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) holds the promise of revolutionizing multiple industries, including the healthcare industry with its potential to enhance diagnostics, streamline treatment, and optimize patient care. Despite significant advancements in AI, the practical implementation of this technology has not yet achieved the large-scale success that many anticipated. This talk will explore some of the fundamental problems in the creation and implementation of AI in difficult real-world situations. We will delve into real-world examples in healthcare, analyze the roadblocks that have hindered progress, and discuss possible solutions for overcoming these challenges to make a tangible difference in patient outcomes and efficiency. By bridging the gap between AI's promise and its practical implementation, we can unlock the door to a new era of innovation.
