Mohamed Bakr is a senior robotics and AI researcher/engineer in KION group with over 5 years of experience in the field. He earned his master's degree in Robotics and Intelligent Systems from Hamburg University of Technology. He has published over 10 patents and several research papers in top-tier conferences and journals. He has worked on numerous research projects related to robotics and AI, including autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and industrial robots. Currently, he is working on the industrialization of robotics and AI at the KION Group, a world leader company for logistics and material handling. He is leading the MLOPS team to create scalable AI pipelines that can process big data and use deep learning for scene understanding. Furthermore, he is developing AI networks and robotic functions for assistance systems and autonomous driving that are integrated on manual, automated guided and autonomous forklifts/vehicles.
