Within a year of opening the center she negotiated the sale to DaVita, a $13 billion public dialysis operator. Arlene went on to design and develop a specialty surgical hospital in Beaumont, Texas whom she partnered with Bob Helms founder of a system of hospitals under Victory Healthcare. Victory Beaumont was then sold to IASIS Healthcare, headquartered in Nashville. For the last 15 years, she operates a medical management company, medical billing company and medical lien funding company. Currently, Arlene is co-founder and managing member of Jorie Healthcare Partners, where she is involved in the daily management of the company.
