Christoph is a data scientist with over 7 years of experience in investment banking, portfolio management, and data science consulting. He is currently driving digitalization and AI enablement at BASF. His educational background includes a PhD in Applied Statistics with summa cum laude from Georg-August-University Göttingen, complemented by graduate studies in finance and economics at the University of St Andrews and the University of Oxford as a scholar of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. Christoph has published in leading journals, e.g. the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series A, Journal of Applied Statistics, and Computational Statistics, and co-edited two books on artificial intelligence.
