Selim Mimaroglu, PhD, is the author of Enterprise AI Productivity: Success Beyond the Hype (Oracle Press/Pearson, 2026). He built and scaled the AI organization at Oracle Energy from the ground up, establishing an AI Center of Excellence and delivering AI and GenAI models into production across regulated industries including energy, water, and construction. He currently serves as Director of GenAI and Data Science at Fannie Mae, leading AI delivery in one of the most demanding regulatory environments in U.S. financial services. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (AI) from UMass Boston, an MIT Product Management Certificate, and 5 US patents. Before entering industry, he spent over a decade in academia and founded multiple technology ventures.
