Director, Artificial Intelligence
Wayve
Elahe Arani is the Director of AI at Wayve and Adjunct AI Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology.
Her work focuses on building general-purpose, autonomous AI systems by developing foundation models for embodied intelligence - agents that can perceive, act, and learn in complex real-world environments.
At Wayve, she leads teams developing cutting-edge systems in generative world models (such as GAIA-2), vision-language-action driving (such as LINGO-2), reinforcement learning, and tinyML. Elahe has authored over 60 publications at top-tier venues including NeurIPS, CVPR, ICLR, ICML, and ECCV, and holds more than 40 patents.
She frequently serves as Area Chair for NeurIPS, ICLR, and ICCV. Her interdisciplinary research bridges neuroscience, continual learning, and scalable autonomy.
