Aman Bhandari is SVP and Chief Analytics and AI Officer at SCAN (Senior Care Action Network), a top 10 Medicare Advantage health plan, following 8 years leading enterprise AI and data science at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where he built the function from scratch and delivered over 100 AI projects across clinical, commercial, and manufacturing operations. Earlier in his career he created Merck's first formal data science team and served as senior advisor to the White House and HHS Chief Technology Officer, where he helped establish the first Chief Data Officer roles across the US government. He holds a PhD in health services research and a master's in epidemiology, and has advised AI initiatives for the World Bank, USAID, Harvard, and Boston Children's Hospital.
