Oracle – more than a database: A glimpse onto Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and its Gen AI capabilities.
Oracle is known for decades for its superior converged database management product. But Oracle has evolved to a full-service Generation 2 cloud provider for the last eight years with even emerging AI capabilities, from offering GPUs to hosted LLM models, ready-to use PaaS services and Generative and Agentic AI. We will briefly introduce the whole Oracle Cloud Infrastructure offering and focus on AI usage in conjunction with data management. We will live-demo chatbots, orchestrated Gen AI agents and the the integration of AI with classical data management tasks. Key takeaways: → Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and its AI offering is an interesting addition to the often considered Cloud Hyperscaler offerings. → AI is key to empower existing data management technologies to return more value and insights to its users. This brings more value to customers while maintaining existent investments in data management products.
