Strategies of image dataset curation using generative AI for industrial IoT
In Industrial IoT massive amounts of data is generated by edge devices that capture data continuously. For vision systems, managing the sheer volume of images and metadata can be challenging. Industrial data differs fundamentally from common datasets- it can be domain-specific, expensive and time consuming to crowdsource. VLMs offer promising potential to address this challenge through their ability to understand and reason about visual concepts with minimal examples. This session explores how generative AI is transforming the data curation landscape. We present a Generative AI based curation strategies that automates much of the curation while keeping humans in the loop minimal.
