Your model isn't the moat: what actually protects AI products in 2026
Every competitor can now access the same models, so the model alone is rarely what keeps a customer. This talk comes from a Chief AI Officer who builds and scales AI-native products in healthcare and life sciences, and it looks at what actually protects an AI product once the underlying technology is widely available. This talk will cover where defensibility comes from in 2026, how product, engineering and design decisions create advantages that are hard to copy, and what changes when AI agents start comparing options on a customer’s behalf. Key Takeaways: → Why access to a strong model no longer differentiates an AI product, and what does → How product, engineering and design decisions build advantages competitors can’t easily copy → What to prioritize on an AI roadmap when customers and their agents are comparing options

Panel | From deployment to value: What enterprise AI adoption actually requires
Board patience for AI experiments is thinning, and a live deployment is no longer enough to count as a win. A Chief Analytics & AI Officer, a chief architect, a product leader and a Chief AI Officer share what it took to get AI adopted, funded and measured in their organizations after launch. This panel will cover who owns adoption once a system is live, how they made build versus buy calls, and how they report ROI upward in a way leadership accepts. Key Takeaways: → What has to be in place beyond the model for adoption to stick, from data readiness to clear ownership → How to set value metrics that hold up in front of a board or CFO → Where deployments stall after launch, and the decisions that got them moving again
